How I can forget him :(
Dec 8th 2006, I am little busy with work .. That day Suman, Best Volunteer for all events, pulled me to the conference room to attend a meeting for Annual Day events.
Jyothi, one of our managers, introduced a person, who is planning a skit for Annual Day.
He narrated me the story when I went along with him after the meeting.
I didn't show any interest bcoz of lack of time for practice.
He got an idea to make Basanti. He asked one of my friend to call me and ask whether I can do.. Still he is not sure that I will respond for this. I liked his Idea and without hesitation I accepted his Idea of doing Basanti.
From the next day I saw him working with very much dedication, he brought saree also for Basanti. He is working around the clock for complete Savan '06, our Annual Day.
We were working very closely for the short time to make everything perfect..Finally we are happy everything was done successfully..
After that we want to celebrate this and went for a group lunch. He is explaining me what all he planned for the Team Outing to Vizag.. I did my graduation from AU, Vizag and I love the place very much.
The next weekend I left to my native and he left along with his team mates to Vizag.
The very next day Madan, my colleague, called up me at around 11 P.M (23rd Dec 06)., and conveyed the very sad news. I got upset and don't even know how to respond.
I can't believe that I missed a friend who is very close in just two weeks.
I am very much impressed the way he live,
Everyone knows him but he is so simple,
Very creative you must see his drawings,
Not only cares the near and dear, also the needy.
I used to call him creative director..asked him to make some movie with Basanti as Heroin or at least item number.
I remember Raj and his Basanti forever.

the raj i knew....
i dinnot even know this guy a month bk...first time..it was this new guy in Synergy-Elements teamm...thought that he was a junior...next i met him was during volunteers day whr i forced him to help me...then it was childrens day when he was tht guy with a huge cam...hardly talked or even said hi...then the CHIP trip happened....sat bside him for sometime during the journey..."some" time coz...this guy cant sit in one place for more than 30 min...restless and active....this"peoples man" was upto something or the other..pulling ppl to play antakshari...clicking snaps...catching the most unusual and bful emotions......always thinking abt how to get evry1 involved....the next 3 days were really enjoyable with this guy arnd...he wil surprise u vth ur comments and converstaions...he amazes u vth his photography talent...he wud be the initiator of evry activity..."front-runner" in evrything he does...and silently capturing all our expressions in his cammy...suddenly he goes into those silent modes by the pool side...as if "self-introspection" going on n the next moment he is off vth his mp3 player in his ears....the most memorable part was the antakshari by the side of campfire...whr raj was
changing teams jus to 'sing along' and 'sing aloud'...then the bus journey the way bk...playing personalities game and arguing vth evry1...all through the journey one of the persons i interacted the most was raj.....he was one sensible person with whom i enjoyed the conversing with...after the trip it was same old routine schedule but thr was a new friend...who wil surprise u with his sudden short visits to ur cube...discussing annual day ...uis trip...movie to look out for...my chut accident...emerald phone and the lost adaptor....discussion cud be nething...this guy wud come appear bhind u with his deep loud voice....always smiling inspite "n" no: of tasks hes entagled in...thr was annual day ...CR work...features and the team trip.....
raj...this is for u...though i knew u for a little while u touched my life in big way....i was in a real shock for 3 days...still not able to get over the FACT...and it shunt have happened...wateva happened... was looking so unnecessary...u dinnot deserve this...u were full of "life" and always made the other person feel good abt himself...one of the most selfless persons i have seen.... really talented and "not an ordinary" person....thr was a spark in ur eyes...a restlessness to do something...to give back something to the world...u asked for comments on ur blog...i dinnot comment then coz i wanted to do it in detail...but now i say that it is the best blog i have ever seen ...the way u write the way u express ur thoughts ...those snaps...those chat sessions...evrything ringing in my mind....u r thr in our hearts...those snaps...those memories...the KHUSHI mascot....thx raj for those times we all shared!!!never missed any1 so much as i am missing u now...even now i hope for a miracle tht u appear bhind my seat....with those deep eyes and broad smile!!!
